
Sweetcorn Lagan (Savory Sweetcorn Cake)

Ingredients
½ cup Tasty Wheat (Semolina)
½ cup Gram (Besan) Flour
½ cup flour
2½ t baking powder
1 t salt
½ t turmeric
½ t white pepper
½ t cumin powder
1 can Koo Creamstyle Sweetcorn
1 onion, finely chopped
3 T finely chopped coriander
1 green chilli, finely chopped
½ t garlic paste
½ t ginger paste
3 eggs
½ cup milk
½ cup oil
Method
Preheat oven to 180 °C.
Sift the dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Add the sweetcorn, onion, coriander, chilli, garlic and ginger and mix lightly.
Beat the eggs, milk and oil together, add to the flour mixture and mix well.
Pour into a greased baking dish and bake at 180 °C for 20—25 minutes or until done (the texture should be soft but not runny or very sticky).
Cut into sqaures.
