
Self-saucing choc pudding with Clover Classic custard
Baking time: 30 minutes
Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
60g butter, melted
½ cup castor sugar
1 cup self raising flour
pinch of salt
¼ cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
for the chocolate sauce
1 cup water
½ cup castor sugar
2 tblsp cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
Clover Classic custard for serving
Method
Preheat the oven to 180C
Sift the flour, cocoa powder, salt and sugar into a bowl. Make a well and pour in the melted butter, milk and egg. Fold to combine until you have a smooth batter.
Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish. Combine the chocolate sauce ingredients in a saucepot and mix until the sugar dissolves. Pour the syrup over the batter and bake for 30 minutes.
Serve warm with Clover Classic Custard
