Salted Caramel Sauce

Salted Caramel Sauce

½ cup Ayrshire butter
1 cup Selati Demerara sugar
¾ cup Whipping cream
1 teaspoon Maldon Sea salt
1. In a pot melt the butter over a medium heat, add the brown sugar and cook stirring until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is creamy.
2.  Remove from heat.
3. Slowly and carefully stir in the whipping cream and salt (mixture will bubble up).
4.  Allow to cool.
Ideas to use it:
-          Use the caramel sauce as a topping for ice cream, brownies or any dessert.
-          For a sweet/savoury idea, use the caramel sauce as a glaze for pork chops.

For best results, use Selati!
