
Poached Pears in Phyllo with Bliss Chocolate dairy dessert
Ingredients
5-6 sheets phyllo pastry
½ cup melted butter
1 tbsp melted butter
1/3 cup sugar
4 pears
50 ml white wine
¼ cup honey
2 cloves
1 tsp vanilla essence

Method
Preheat the oven to 200C.
Peel the pears and remove the core. Add wine and honey to a saucepan. Place over medium-high heat. Add the cloves and vanilla. Cook for about 15 minutes.
Brush each phyllo sheet with melted butter.
Place a piece of phyllo dough into a small baking pan/ramekin. Press into the base and edges of the pan. Fold and shape the overhanging pastry decoratively into the to create some kind of wave, giving them height. Transfer the pears into the phyllo cups along with the poaching liquid.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until the pastry is golden brown. Remove from the oven and leave the pears to cool to room temperature, then serve them still warm with a generous drizzle of Clover Bliss Chocolate medium cream dairy dessert.
