Nolac Masala fried chicken

Nolac Masala fried chicken

Cooking time: 20 minutes
Serves: 3-4

For the marinade
3-4 skinless chicken breast fillets
2 tbsp ginger, peeled and chopped
3 garlic cloves, chopped
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 cup Clover Nolac Maas
1 tbsp chilli powder
1 tbsp garam masala
2 tsp salt
1 tsp turmeric
 
For the coating
1 cup flour
½ cup corn starch
1 tbsp cayenne pepper mixed with 2 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp cumin and coriander
1 tsp lemon pepper
Salt
Oil for frying
Nolac dairy snack, plain flavor, for serving
Pineapple/mango chopped with red onion and coriander for serving
Naan bread for serving 
 
Method
Mix together all the ingredients for the marinade and chill in the fridge for at least 20 minutes. Overnight would be best.
 
In a clean bowl, mix together the coating ingredients. Remove the chicken from the fridge at least 20 minutes before frying. Place the chicken in the flour and toss well to coat
Heat the oil and fry the chicken until golden brown and crisp. Drain on kitchen towel.
 
Generously sprinkle over paprika and cayenne mixed with salt.
 
Serve with naan bread, Nolac dairy snack and sambal
