Mexican coffee
Recipe: Daleen van der Merwe

Serves: 3
Preparation: 5 minutes
Cooking: 3 minutes

 4 Tbsp (30 g) coarsely ground coffee
1½ cup water
1 cinnamon stick
1 piece orange peel
½ cup milk
1 cup Clover Bliss Chocolate Dairy Dessert
½ t vanilla extract
Dark brown sugar to taste
Whipped cream for topping

Using your preferred method, brew the coffee and water.
Place the cinnamon stick, orange peel, milk and chocolate dessert in a saucepan. Heat gently, stirring frequently, until just before it starts to boil.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the brewed coffee and vanilla. Add sugar to taste (if needed). Remove the cinnamon and orange peel and pour the coffee into cups. Top with cream if you'd like.
