Lamb Tikka Chops with Pineapple Salsa

Lamb Tikka Chops with Pineapple Salsa and 2I Garlic Naan
 
Lamb Tikka Chops

Ingredients
500g lamb chops
1/2 lemon juiced
Salt to taste
1 heaped tbs ginger paste
1 heaped tbs garlic paste
1 tbs chilli powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp white pepper
4 tbs yoghurt
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala
4 tbs melted ghee for coating
 
Method
Pat lamb chops dry
Add all ingredients and marinade overnight, minimum 1 hr if you short on time
Braai or grill each side for 3-4min. Have melted ghee to coat
 
Pineapple Salsa

Ingredients
1 pineapple finely chopped
1/2 onion
3 tbs mint
Salt to taste
1 tbs sugar
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 lemon juice
 
Method
Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate
 
 
Recipe for Garlic Naan

 Ingredients
2 cups flour
4 tsp baking power
1 cup of double cream yoghurt
1 tsp salt
 
4 tbs butter
2 tsp finely chopped garlic
 
Method
Sift flour, baking powder and salt
Add yoghurt and fork the mixture till it looks grainy
Then knead in bowl till it all comes together
Knead of flat surface with flour for 8-10mins
Rest for 10min
Divide into 8 balls and roll on flat surface
Toast in frying pan or tawa on each side till soft and cushy with golden brown markings
Brush on melted garlic butter
