DIY: Set a Beautiful Easter Table
For the centrepiece
What you will need:
12 votive tea light candles
12 empty egg shells
2 empty egg cartons
dried or fresh flowers
greenery
12 mini easter chocolate eggs
Instructions:
Start by placing 6 empty egg shell into each carton, then place a votive tea light candle into each one. Fill up the empty spaces with greenery, flowers and mini chocolate eggs. Place this in the centre of your table and decorate your table as desired.
For the table setting:
1 linen tablecloth
4 underplates or placemats
4 dinner plates
4 side plates
4 bowls
4 linen napkins
4 sets of cutleries
4 glasses
Instructions:
Start by placing your tablecloth onto your table, then place the underplates or placemats depending on seating arrangement. Place one large dinner plate, followed by one side plate and a bowl onto each placemat.
Fold the napkin neatly and place on the side of the placemat, arrange the cutlery on top of the napkin and place glassware in the right-hand corner.
Egg decorating for the kids:
What you will need:
6 white chocolate egg
2 pens
2 edible pink bunny ears
¼ cup white chocolate, melted
Instructions:
Start by drawing eyes and a nose onto each chocolate egg, then dip edible bunny ears into chocolate and stick onto the chocolate egg. Hold it in place for about 30 seconds.
