Decadent Chocolate Coffee Cake Squares

400 g sugar
240 g flour
1½ tsp bicarbonate of soda
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
50 g cocoa powder
1 Tbsp coffee granules
½ cup Clover Creamel
2 cups hot water
2 large eggs
½ cup oil
2 tsp vanilla essence

For topping
150 g dark chocolate
1 can condensed milk
chocolate shavings 
To make the cake
Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a 30 cm baking tray with greaseproof paper.
Sift the dry ingredients into a large bowl – not the coffee. 
Stir the coffee and Clover Creamel into the hot water until dissolved. 
Then add the eggs, oil and vanilla essence to the hot water mixture. Whisk until well combined. 
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix to combine.
Pour the batter into the baking tray and bake for 30 minutes, or until a skewer comes out clean. Allow to cool.
To make the topping
Chop the chocolate roughly and melt. Mix the chocolate and condensed milk together until smooth.  Smear over cake, decorate with chocolate shavings and cut into squares.
