
Clover Condensed Milk Truffles

INGREDIENTS
1 tin Clover Sweetened Condensed Milk
½ tsp vanilla paste
2 cups milk powder
1 ½ cups icing sugar
For decorating:
½ cup dark chocolate, melted
cocoa powder, for dusting
Icing sugar, for dusting
gold leaf
food colouring, of your choice, optional
METHOD
For the truffles: In a large bowl mix together, Clover Sweetened Condensed Milk, vanilla paste and milk powder, until well combined. Start adding in icing sugar ½ cup at a time until thickened. The mixture should resemble a soft moldable dough that doesn’t stick to your hands.
Dust your hands with some icing sugar to make the rolling and shaping process easier, then scoop out about 1 Tbsp of the mixture and roll into mini balls.
For decorating: Separate the truffles, decorate some with melted dark chocolate and gold leaf. Dust the rest in icing sugar or cocoa powder.
Alternatively, you can also separate the mixture into 3 equal portions and colour each one with food colouring before rolling into balls and decorating.
