Cooking Time: 20 minutes
INGREDIENTS
fried chicken:
2 chicken Breast
1 cup corn flour
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tbsp onion powder
2 tbsp cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper
2 eggs
Oil for frying
For the sweet and sour sauce
½ cup soy sauce
¼ cup honey
¼ cup brown sugar
2 lemon juice
Clover Classic Tangy Mayonnaise sauce:
1 cup Clover Classic Tangy Mayonnaise Strong (#3)
½ tomato sauce
¼ cup hot sauce of your choice
To serve:
2 burger buns, split and toasted
Coleslaw mix
Sesame seeds
Spring onion, chopped
matchstick fries
METHOD:
For the fried chicken combine corn flour and spices in a bowl. Dip the chicken breast into the flour mixture, then into egg mixture and back into the flour mixture and fry until crispy and cooked through (approximately 4 minutes on each side). Set aside. For the sweet and sour sauce, add all ingredients into a saucepan and allow to cook until the sugar has dissolved and the sauce has thickened. Toss fried chicken into the sauce and sprinkle over sesame seeds. To Make the Clover Classic Mayonnaise sauce, mix together the ingredients until combined. To assemble the burger, spread a generous amount of the Clover Classic Mayonnaise sauce on the bottom of each toasted bun, top with coleslaw and Korean fried chicken. Garnish with sesame seeds, chopped spring onion and drizzle a generous amount of Clover Classic Mayonnaise sauce on top. Lastly, put the top of the buns on top and serve with some matchstick fries.
