Christmas Surprise Bon-bons

Makes: 15 Bon-bons

½ cup chocolate chips
2 cups fruit cake crumbs
2 Tbsp honey
glazed cherries, nuts or chocolate sweet
80 g dark chocolate, chopped
80 g white chocolate, chopped
chopped nuts, pieces jelly sweets, chocolate vermicelli, coloured sprinkles or cold dust, for decoration
mini paper cups, for serving
Place the chocolate chips in a heat proof bowl and place on top of a saucepan with boiling water. The bowl with chocolate should not be directly in contact with the water. Stir until melted.
Mix the cake and honey with the melted chocolate.

Using a 15 ml measuring spoon to scoop even quantities of the cake mixture. Press a cherry, nut or chocolate sweet in the mixture and press the cake mixture around it to cover completely. Shape into balls and place on a plate in the fridge until stiff.

Melt the dark and white chocolate in separate bowls over boiling water and roll the bon-bons in the chocolate to cover.

Immediately decorate it with the decorations of your choice so that it sticks to the chocolate. Place in mini paper cups and chill until serving.
