Chicken popcorn with tangy Clover Nolac sauce

Chicken popcorn with tangy Clover Nolac sauce

Serves: 4-6
3 cups flour
2 teaspoons garlic powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp chilli flakes
¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
1 cup Cover Nolac Maas
2 tablespoons lemon juice
oil for frying
3 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cubed
¼ cup Clover Nolac Maas
¼ cup Clover Nolac dairy snack, plain
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1 tsp lemon zest
In a bowl, place Clover Nolac Maas and add all the spices. Keep some extra salt and pepper aside to season the flour.
Mix well before adding the chicken. Set aside to marinade for at least 15 min.
While marinating, preheat your oil to 180°C.
In a separate bowl, mix flour with salt and pepper.
Set aside.
Mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl then transfer into the fridge to chill.
Once ready dredge the chicken pieces in the flour and fry until golden brown. Transfer to paper towel to drain oil then serve with the chilled sauce.
