Winnie Khumalo
Joining us today is the woman acclaimed for embracing various musical styles, reinventing her image throughout her career, Winnifred Khumalo, better known by her stage name Winnie Khumalo.
Winnie made a name for herself after she landed a role in South Africa’s favourite soapy, Muvhango, she also took on the role of Madluphuthu’s mother in the popular movie titled “My Sh*t father and my lotto ticket”. She recorded her first studio album at the age of 15 by the legendary multi-awarded winning producer Chico Twala titled, “Hey Laitie”. Winnie got signed to Kalawa Jamzee, in the hopes to advance her career and taking it to the next level.
She understands and relates to so many others who want to make it in the music industry. She regularly gives motivational talks around South Africa in schools, lending a hand in the up bringing of well-cultured and successful leaders of tomorrow.
