TwinzSpin, PJ Twins and Hamba Smallz
 
We are joined by TwinzSpin, PJ Twins and Hamba Smallz for a soulful performance of their latest single, ‘Mandela’.
 
Jade and Shad Isaac, commonly known as TwinzSpin, started their music careers as DJ’s in 2010. They were motivated to pursue DJing by their father, Hayden Isaacs, who was also a DJ. Since then, TwinzSpin has blown up and now have their very own show, ‘TwinzSpin Mashup Show’, on Good Hope FM.
 
PJ Twins’ Peter and John Talmarkes grew up in a close-knit community of a small township called Bonteheuwel. Despite gangsterism affecting the community, the Talmarkes twins were able to distance themselves from it by focusing on music. 2012 was a major turning point in their music career as they entered SA’s Got Talent where they were crowned the runners up. 

Since then, the brothers have continued to work on their music career and in 2019, PJ Twins auditioned for Season 3 of The Voice South Africa. They were placed in the Top 5. Outside of their music, Peter and John are Trustees of the Awehness Foundation Trust, a foundation that offers reading classes in Bonteheuwel.
 
Hamba Smallz is a Cape Town-based artist and music producer. His music producing career began in 2014 when he was still in Grade 9. He mainly focuses on House, Gqom and Afro Tech. Hamba also founded Bathathebonke Records, his own record label.
