Joining us for Pizza Day is the oh-so talented Tracey Carter.

For the past 20 years Carter has worked in the performing arts, education and youth development fields, seeking to build bridges across the platforms to produce young people who understand their roles as global citizens and as active participants in building a national legacy. Known for her ability to uniquely blend the creative and administrative, Carter uses her talents to assist fresh, young people moulding them into artists worthy of the world stage.

Carter has served as the Director of Afri-Can, an NGO working within the above mentioned sectors since 2007, as well as running her own business, Encore Media where she works as a singer, songwriter, musical composer and producer both locally and internationally. She has released 4 original albums as well as producing for other artists. One of her greatest musical achievements was being asked to write a tribute song for the South African 2000 Olympic Team and Gold Medalist Penny Haynes.

Tracey is a passionate and dynamic woman who believes in the creative capacity of our youth within this great nation, and is convinced, that if offered the opportunity and resources South Africa can become one of the greatest contributors globally.

She is married to Jason Carter and is the proud mother of three teenagers - Zoe, Jayden and Emma - which in itself is a full-time job.
