Thandi Draai

Joining us today is musician and activist against child abuse, Thandi Draai.

At the age of 4 Thandi was a victim of abuse. She was mentally, physically and sexually abused by her grandparents. One of her pre-school teachers picked up on it and had her removed from her grandparents. She was then placed into foster care, going on to be fostered by Veronica, who cared and loved for her unconditionally.

Thandi always had a love for music and dancing. She performed in pageants and school shows in front of the teachers, staff as well as for the kids at the foster home. She’s been in the industry for 7 years now and self-produced her album Iris.

There is no doubt Thandi has talent and we can't wait for her to join us in the loft.
