Feather Awards Founder, Thami Dish joins us talk Pride Month. 

The LGBTQ+ community is one that can do with a lot more kindness, understanding and support. 
Today, 73 countries criminalise LGBTQ+ people for being who they are. Twelve countries still impose the death penalty as punishment for private, consensual, same-sex sexual activity.

And while we may be stuck indoors this June, the spirit of pride is definitely not called off.

Pride Month is more than just parades and parties, it’s also about generating awareness for causes benefitting the LGBTQ+ community long beyond June. 

One of these events is the Feather Awards, and more recently the Feathers Virtual Dialogues. 
Let’s support the LGBTQI community in any way that we can this Pride month and many months to come.
