Stuart Taylor joins us in the loft for some in-studio fun as we prepare some meals that are perfect for Father’s Day. Stuart is a South African comedian and magician, best known to South Africans as the presenter of SABC 3’s hit travel show, ‘Going Nowhere Slowly’.
After completing his Bachelors of Science degree at Stellenbosch University, Stuart decided to ditch his lab coat and microscope for the entertainment industry and hasn’t looked back. From theatres to boardrooms across South Africa, Stuart has performed for many of the country’s top companies.
Stuart has performed across numerous stages both locally and internationally. He earned the adoration of critics and fans for his performances at the Pleasace Dome at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Berlin International Comedy Festival.
Locally, he has wowed South Africans for his productions at the Baxter Theatre, Market Theatre, the Montecasino Theatre and the National Arts Festival. He has also received multiple awards for his work including the prestigious Overall Best Comedy award at the National Arts Festival (2008) and the Show Time award (2007) for the best solo performance.
