Sneziey Msomi

Today we meet content creator, musician, songrwriter, and singer Sneziey Msomi, who'll be joining us for our Tuesday Cook-Along.

Born Snenhlanhla Msomi in Umlazi, Durban, she recently gained success in one of the word's biggest singing competitions and goes by the name Sneziey Msomi.

Growing up Sneziey always had a love for music and knew where she wanted to be as a singer so started off singing in the school choir, and as a back up for artists.

Sneziey lost her mother when she was only 4 years old so was raised by her grandmother. There were many highs and lows in her life but she always kept on going despite the obstacles and challenges.

Fast forward to today and her perserverance and drive has seen her working with the likes of Mdu Ngcobo, Afrotainment, Robbie Malinga, Winnie Khumalo, Zomizi Mhlongo amongst others. She's also featured on NaimaKay’s second album, "Ngiyabonga" and worked on the Simon Sabela Film Awards.
