Siya Kolisi and Rachel Kolisi
The Kolisis hope to change the narrative of inequality for people in disadvantage communities in South Africa.
Siya Kolisi is a hero to many as he made history as the first black man to be appointed test captain of the South African Springboks in 127 years of the sport. Kolisi led his team to the Rugby World Cup victory, returning South Africa to top rankings. Kolisi dedicated the win to all South Africans saying the we can achieve anything when we work together.
His wife Rachel Kolisi is also one who isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. With both their fierce spirits, together they established the Kolisi Foundation in March 2020. Neither of them were born with a silver spoon in their mouth but they're making a difference, thanks to their hearts of gold and a powerful vision to impact the lives of others.
