Joining us in studio today is Award Winning SA-based Nigerian Afrofusion artist, Scooby Nero, and he’ll be treating us to a performance to get us into the spirit for the weekend.
ScoobyNero has caught the attention of many with his fusion of music that has reached the top of the charts in many regions of the African continent.
The artist broke out onto the music scene in Johannesburg in 2012, and thanks to his passion and dedication to music has worked with artists like Kwesta, Emmy GEE, Nadia Nakai and Buffalo Soulja and grown his profile to become one of the hottest Nigerian performers to grace SA’s shores.
His career in entertainment actually started as a dancer where he worked for the likes of Ruggedman, the American Superstar, LL Cool K, and Akon. At the time he went by the nickname Tony Tonero but used to count as he did a dance move and use the word Scooby - which eventually earned him the name ScoobyNero.
