Sauti Sol

Joining us today is Kenyan Afro-pop band Sauti Sol.

The band formed in 2005 with members Chimano and Savara who had met in high school where they performed together in a music group at school, they met guitarist Otieno at the Alliance francaise in Nairobi. The band has built a very dedicated following worldwide through their excellent discography, influenced by the likes of Lokua Kanza and Daudi Kabaka.

They have had multiple awards and nominations across the globe including the 2019 MTV Europe Music Award for Album of the year in Africa, AFIRMA award and many more.
