Channel Head of SABC 3, Pat van Heerden, joins us in the loft to chat about the relaunch of the channel and what will be hitting our screens from April.
 
Pat is no stranger to the media industry. After completing her double Master of Arts in Documentary Film and History from New York University, Pat returned to South Africa and worked as a factual commissioning editor for SABC 1. She then served as the Head of Entertainment at SABC for 7 years. During that time, she was also the executive producer at Connect TV. 
 
Pat joined the Media24 team in 2015 as the Head of Content and Scheduling for the Afrikaans lifestyle channel VIA before returning to SABC in 2020 as the Channel Head of SABC 3.
