Joining us in studio today is South African Afro Soul pop artist, Nonkhu.
Nonkhu grew up with her mother in the vibrant Township Mamelodi, Pretoria and while music early became a big part of her life she has taken many journeys before arriving at the doorsteps of becoming a full time musician.
This included working in hospitality in Dubai, joining the army and even studying civil engineering. Her heart always longed to perform but her biggest struggle was believing in herself and in her ability to make it as a professional musician. But Nonkhu's dad believed in her and encouraged her to go big and strive to be a lead singer. She took his advice, has just launched her new single L.O.V.E. and isn't looking back!
