Nina Hastie


We are joined by the beautiful and always funny, the multi-talented Nina Hastie. Nina is a well known comedian, writer, actor, television and radio personality, who is popularly known as one of the presenters on SABC 3 late-night talk show, Trending SA, and be a co-host on a TouchHD radio breakfast show.

The Pretoria born Nina, showed her love for the entertainment industry at an early age, when she landed a radio audition at the age of 13 years old, making her the youngest radio DJ in the country at the time. On top of her radio and television duties, Nina is also preparing a new one woman comedy show.

She may be one of the most celebrated face in the industry right now but her road to stardom has not been an easy one, Nina is a rape savivour and speaks openly about it, in order to get to help other women come forward and not feel alone or ashamed. She is also recovering addict with over 3 years clean, she has also been open about suffering from anxiety and depression. Nina had been doing stand-up for over 10 years before she got her ‘big break’ and became a household name, she is a true example of that hard work pays off.
