Neeri Naaido
We meet animal rescuer Neeri Naidoo, she chats to us about her animal care organisation - Phoenix Animal Care and Treatment.
Established in March 2012 as a non-profit organisation, to provide care and medical treatment for animals in the Phoenix area, the organisation were feeding over 80 animals before lockdown. That number has since risen to over 190 animals on a daily basis. If animals have been abused or neglected, they will be provided with the necessary healthcare and shelter.
The organisation have also decided to take their good will and spread it a bit further, by feeding the human owners as well as people who are struggling to make ends meet.
