We sit down with the Co-Founder of Bloom, Nandi Dlepu, as she chats to us about the work Bloom does.
 
Bloom is an organisation aimed at building a community of creative female freelancers and entrepreneurs working to nurture their professional and emotional well-being. The platform was inspired by a personal need by Nandi to find a community of creative females.
 
Nandi founded the platform with Farai Simoyi, a New York-based fashion designer in order to give the organization a global footprint. Themed conversations are hosted in both Johannesburg and New York. As a result of the global pandemic, these conversations moved online through the use of IGTV.
 
Bloom not only wants to showcase creative women but also wants to highlight the different creative industries across the globe. Bloom is a space for creative women to hear each other’s complex career journeys and share the joys, successes, detours and failures.
