Madeegha Anders 

 
We welcome back to loft Musician Madeegha Anders as she treats us to a special performance with her son, Award-Winning Artist Ashur Petersen.
 
Madeegha was just 17 years old when she made her professional singing debut in Swaziland with her late ex-husband Taliep Petersen and other singers. Since then, she has performed on numerous stages, including starring in Alistair Izobell Production Kaapse Jol at the Baxter Theatre and Music Al Kaap at the Grandwest Arena.
 
The years following Taliep’s death were a traumatic time for Madeegha and her children however, one of Madeegha’s greatest highlights in her career was when she performed at the Taliep Petersen Tribute Concert alongside her children in 2016.
