Madeegha Anders

Madeegha Anders started her professional career in 1979, working at one of the top hotels in Swaziland as a singer in the band "Seven Steps" with the late Taliep Petersen. She also played the lead female role in the musical "Carnival a la D6" in Swaziland during that time. Madeegha was lead female singer in the band "Sapphyre" also with the late Taliep Petersen for over ten years. In 1985/6 she played the lead female role in the hit Musical "D6", performed at the Edinburgh festival in Scotland and sang in all the Mike McCullough productions for many years. Recently Madeegha was part of the cast of the very successful Alistair Izobell production “Kaapse Jol”.
