We are joined by the founder of Mad about Rasta, originally a fashion label that she started and in Khayelitsha, in 2013. what originally started as a fashion design company for Rasta women to also have up to date fashion trends, has now turned into a lifestyle company.

Now Mad about Rasta offers a variety of services such as fashion advice, vegetarianism, personal styling and lifestyle events. The concept behind the lifestyle company is to combine “Top Billing living” with people in the “hood,” to show that its all about the mindset and that they too can also live the lives that they see on television and social media. Mad about Rasta helps it’s clients find out what’s trending, how to invest in their own brand, how to invest in a stylist and how to live a healthy lifestyle without spending too much.

The company’s primary objective is to help it’s clients broaden their horizons and treat themselves like a business/brand. The business is based in Khayelitsha because they are to break the mould and how people perceive the lives of those that live in Khayelitsha or the Cape Flats.
