Loyisa Gijana

Joining us today is soul singer-songwriter Loyisa Gijana.

Loyisa found stardom on the eleventh season as a contestant on Idols South Africa, where he made it to the Top 8. His rendition of songs like “Lay With Me” by Sam Smith made him a fan favourite.
Today he is using his voice to urge men to fight against Gender Based Violence, which has been as described by our own president as the second pandemic. We hear daily stories of severe cases of gender based violence against woman, which is currently on a steady incline only aided by Lockdown. Loyisa has decided to use his fame and voice to speak on this matter and urge men and woman to act.
