We chat to activist and founder of Girls Leading Change about the importance of gender-based violence and creating awareness around it so that women can learn to empower themselves.
The organisation is there to support and help vulnerable women, to stand up for themselves, taking ownership of their lives and actions. They provide dignity packs which include toiletries to women all over South Africa. The aim is to support women not only physically but mentally as well, with workshops and conferences.
No matter where you live, we all need to support each other.
