Kat Ncala: a woman helping women fly
At just 20 years old, Kat Ncala has achieved so much in her young life and yet, this TV presenter and former Miss Teen World seems to keep going. Earlier this week she announced the launch of her very own premium model school, the KN International Model Academy, that aims to equip aspiring models with the skills needed to face the world of modelling.
According to Ncala, her team has been working hard to ensure that they develop a curriculum that is both relevant and empowering for their students. “We wanted courses that will truly make a difference in their lives and ensure that they come out with a new skill at the end of the day,” she said.
At an early age, Ncala entered into the pageant industry and now holds multiple pageant titles, both locally and internationally. Her pageant achievements are AAMTC Model Of The Year (USA), Miss Teen Africa 2014, Miss Teenager Earth 2018 (Mexico), and most notably, WLBF Miss Teen World (Turkey).
Following her pageantry achievements, Ncala has gone on to mentor and coach other individuals in the pageant industry. Ncala always wanted to make a difference with her pageant accomplishments and now, she appears to be achieving that goal.
Outside of pageantry, Kat Ncala is a TV presenter and MC that has hosted multiple events including Gauteng Sports Awards 2016, SA Hair Awards 2017, Department Of Energy Youth Summit 2017, and the red carpet at the SAFTA’s 2019. She’s also the CEO and Director of the Miss Teenager Africa and Miss Teenager South Africa pageants.
