On our couch is one of our nation’s most beloved and popular musicians - to many he’s the gorgeous lead singer from MiCasa, but to most he’ll always be the one and only, J’Something.
Last time we chatted with J’Something was in 2020 when the pandemic was at it’s peak. Now, two years later he is bringing us a concept he first birthed during lockdown - ‘Indoor.
“When it’s chaotic outside it’s okay to be inside,” he says speaking to the theme of this project - this not only referring to how we were restricted to staying indoors but also allowing ourselves to explore our own minds.
‘Indoor’ is a body of work the artist created without any expectations says J’Something.
When asked how he manages to continuously top the charts the humble artist thanks the people - “It’s not like I’m the fastest so I win the race, it’s how many people decide to like what you’re doing. It’s a very subjective game, which makes it hard because you’re always hoping that the people love you,”. He adds “But with that comes the blessing,”.
