Jonelle Du Pont

We are joined by local blogger and mother Jonelle Du Pont, as we breakdown parenting, in the loft. Being a parent is not something that one can fully comprehend until they become one themselves, and there is no sure one way of parenting.

Jonelle is a community development practitioner but she is also a writer with a blog where she shares her stories through her blog, such as how she even had major difficulties with her experience of giving birth to her son. Her complications resulted in her having over 6 surgeries for almost a year, in order to rectify it. Now as a parent, she shares her parenting style and experiences with her 2 year-old son.

She is also in an interracial relationship and she shares how she teaches her son to embrace both cultures. She constantly works with unemployed women helping them with skills of finding employment or with even helping them start small skills based businesses.
