Our resident foodie and man with the mostest, Jay Miller joins us as we enter Pancake Week.
This self-taught home baker is a maestro in the kitchen and graduated with a degree in Urban Design from the University of the Witwatersrand, which he melds with his passion for baking.
His love for baking was fostered at an early age, while watching his mother, grandmother and aunts create koesisters in the kitchen.
In 2016, Jay debuted his business crafting celebration cakes for all those special occasions and soon went on to start Jaybagels which has grown into a full-time business.
The content creator took his time perfecting recipes, learning new techniques and developing his skills to become the skilled baker he is today.
The rising star took his talents to the screen as a contestant on the Tastemaster SA Season 2, where he wowed judges and audiences alike with his cooking chops. And now, he has joined the Afternoon Express team and is here to set the kitchen alight - taste-wise that is.
