Jason ‘Jay’ Miller recently joined the Afternoon Express team crafting some of the incredible recipes we feature on the show. A self-taught home baker, Jay graduated with a degree in Urban Design from the University of the Witwatersrand.

His passion for baking was fostered at an early age, while watching his mother, grandmother and aunts create koesisters and the like in the kitchen. 

2016, saw Jay start his entrepreneurial endeavour as he began a business creating celebration cakes for all those special occasions. Growing into a full time business, the cook tok his time perfecting recipes, learning new techniques and developing his skills to become the skilled baker he is today.

The rising star, took his talents to the screen as a contestant on the Tastemaster SA Season 2, where he wowed judges and audiences alike with his cooking chops.
