Jana Viljoen

Joining us today is Ziya, otherwise known as Jana Viljoen.

Jana is a mother of 3 who has been creating music to help special needs kids with therapy. She has been living in the States due to her own kids who need special care and therapy. With her love and passion for music she created “Lonely Together”. The essence of the song is that while people are feeling trapped and isolated during lockdown, special needs individuals feel trapped in their own body on a daily, but to them it's just another day. She is also working on an album with the Brain Child Fund with the video and audio showing various families going through the same situations.

The culmination of the project will be the creation of a short documentary.
