Jade Bothma
 
We have Jade Botha in-studio with us today - a 14 year old Ocean Activist who started a non-profit organisation.
 
Jade is passionate about surfing, free diving, sailing and the ocean and on a mission to save the ocean one piece of plastic at a time. And as young as Jade is, she’s gotten creative with ideas to save the coral reefs while making a difference for those in need with eco bricks. 
To accomplish this vision she’s partnered up with Candice from WASTE-ED and Jared from Stasher. WASTE-ED offers consulting services focused on research, workshops, and interactive zero waste set ups while Stasher is working towards a plastic free planet with their self –sealing, plastic-free bags made from pure platinum food-grade silicone.
