Imraan Vagar

With us today is Television personality, Imraan Vagar.

Imraan grew up during apartheid in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal. He always excelled in school with everything he did. During his school years he entered and won numerous national speech competitions. During his academic years acting seemed to be an option as he often played leading roles in school-plays. He eventually perused a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree before launching his fashion label in Durban. His designing skills landed him on the judging panel of several fashion and beauty events such as Smirnoff International Fashion Awards.

Imraan is a firm believer in paying forward as he uses his voice to speak on some of the issues and challenges youth face when starting out in life. Through his blog he hopes to inspire and help others. One of his latest articles is “Dear Young Person” which is a figurative love letter to his younger self, offering the  life tools and hacks he wished he knew then.
