Singer and Songwriter Hlengiwe Pearl shares more about her musical journey before she gives us a performance of her latest offering ‘Mina Nawe’ featuring Kwesta.
 
Born and raised in Umlazi, Durban, Hlengiwe knew from an early age that she has a passion for music. She learnt how to sing through her church choir and began her musical career as a gospel singer.
 
She now resides in Johannesburg. She arrived in the city in pursuit of her goal to creatively deliver top class performances. She is motivated by love, inner strength, purpose and respect for both her musical craft and for her listeners.
