Joining us in studio today is Pretoria’s latest-trending young rapper, Focalistic.
 
Born and raised in Pretoria the 23 year old artist was exposed to the recording space when he moved to Johannesburg. He is an electric artist who draws inspiration from the likes of Khuli Chana and Hugh Masekela. His music has no formal classification as it is very versatile. He categorizes his sound as Pina tsa Ko Kasi, this is what made the Pitori Maradona take the industry by storm. Focalistic signed to Major League Music in 2018 and released his first single with them titled 19 Tobetsa. Not only did this song introduce his style and made waves it was debuted in the top 10 ITunes Charts. He went on to collaborate with Dj Maphorisa and Kabza de small, on “Sandton” which has been on the top 10 South African charts all genres for 6 weeks. He also dropped his official single for 2020 titled Never knows which features Cassper Nyovest.
 
There is no doubt that Focalistic will be a household name and one to look out for in the near future, with his hard work and dedication.
