Refilwe Boingotlo Mooketsi, also popularly known as "Fifi Cooper” chats to us about her upcoming album ‘Chapters’ and shares her philanthropic efforts, before giving us a performance of ‘Motlogelenng’, a song that is dedicated to love this February.
 
Fifi is a vibrant talented Hip-Pop artist who is passionate about her art. She is undoubtedly part of the breed of tough, talented and commercially viable female artist to hit the Hip Hop scene and is famously seen as the 1st Lady of Motswako, South Africa’s hip-hop sub-genre.
 
Born and raised in Mafikeng, she started singing at the age of eight, having been a part of numerous choirs throughout her schooling career. During that time, she got exposed to numerous music genres including Jazz and Gospel. Fifi’s father is the one that first introduced her to the music scene and helped her develop her talents.
 
Fifi Cooper has worked with some of South Africa’s finest musos such as Khuli Chana, Lection, Mo'molemi, Adrianto, Thasman and many others. She released her first single “Kisses'' featuring AB Crazy, followed by her debut album titled 20FiFi in 2015.
