Joining us today to talk all things Gender-Based Violence (GBV) is Media Personality and Medical Doctor Fezile Mkhize.

Gender-Based Violence can impact anyone regardless of their social status, race, religion, sexuality and background. The prevalence of GBV is largely due to gender inequality that disempowers woman and girls.

We take a look at Doctor Fezile Mkhize’s new initiative “LetsHealTogether” aimed at the engagement and counselling of young men about GBV. GBV is a globalissue. It is for that reason that we have organisation actively focused at bringing an end to the cruelty and violence.
Penny Appeal, also on today's show is exactly that. The organisation focus' on woman shelters and how woman can get help at the shelters as well as the importance of funding these shelters and ensure the safety of our women.
