Dr Ridwan Mia

We chat to Dr Ridwan Mia on what the effects and struggles of Covid-19 are on healthcare workers. As South Africa changes significantly under Level 3 and all but the high-risk sectors of the economy resume operating again, we clear up some of the do’s and don’ts moving forward.

Dr Ridwan Mia currently runs a private practice and is one of the leading Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons in Sandton, Johannesburg. He regularly gives talks, lectures and career guidance to  which focuses on life experience, health issues and motivation. He is a brand ambassador of project Distinction, a project that gives not only hope but offer incentives to children from underprivileged schools. This, in the hopes of encouraging them to achieve better academic results and to work hard.

He is not only a Doctor but a caregiver, living a selfless and grounded life, continuously striving for excellence in everything he does.
