Dealing with Racism

Racism is still a large issue in South Africa even though there have been laws put in place to help eliminate it, we still often hear or see stories of racism on social media. We are joined by Samiksha Singh and Jose Jorge, who are directors at Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr (CDH) Law Firm, to inform us on social media racism and racism in the workplace.

Samiksha Singh
Samiksha is a director at their Employment practice. She has experience in assisting and advising clients on unfair dismissal disputes at the various bargaining councils and the Labour Courts, unprotected industrial action, strike management, retrenchment processes and disputes arising there from as well as section 197 transfers.

Jose Jorge
Jose is also a Director in the Employment practice, and he specialises in employment litigation, individual employment law, collective labour law and general employment law. Jose has specialised in the field for almost 20 years.
