Chef Mbombi prides himself in specialising in traditional African cuisine but with a modern twist.
His food is connected to his Xitshongaculture. Born and raised in Katlehong, Chef Mbombi attended Dinwiddie High School where his love for cooking grew. It was during that time that he decided to become a chef. 

After matriculating in 2010, he attended HTA Culinary School and since then has worked in numerous food service companies.

In recent years, Chef Mbombi has made a name for himself on social media. He has amassed over 110 000 followers on his instagram page where he posts frequently of his dishes.
