Chef Linda joins us once again for another fabulous continental cook-a-long. On today’s menu we have some delicious Cilantro Infused Peppadews Salsa Verde Crostini with Chicken Pate, followed by Baby Spinach, Sun-dried Tomatoes and Carrot Shavings Salad. We will be cooking up a South African classic - Bobotie, before we end off with a fantastic dessert of Cinnamon Hotcross Buns with Apple Truffle.
During the national lockdown last year, the hospitality industry took a hard knock however, despite the challenges, many chefs rose above their circumstances and excelled. One of these chefs is Chef Linda Mnikathi, who has been nominated as one of the 2021 Chefs to watch. The Durban-based chef is also a Food Editor who offers cooking classes. He is also the Founder of The Culinary Kitchen, a company that caters for corporate events.
