Bulelani Mvotho
We are joined by another entrepreneur, Bulelani Mvotho from Khayelitsha, he is the founder of Snapshot Mobile Cinema, as it celebrates its 10th year, including a sponsorship with he MTV Staying Alive Foundation that is based in London.
The cinema allows the Khayelitsha community members to be able to access and support the local South Africa film industry. Bulelani is not just a supporter of the film industry but also a member, having been in a few television and film productions, as part of the crew. He was even a video mentor for Livity SA magazine, for a number of years.
Snapshot, is a mobile cinema that screens local filmmakers works, and particularly the films related to HIV/Aids content, in order to educate the community. Since cinemas are lacking the in the townships, Bulelani took this initiative upon himself, to slowly start incorporating it in.
